A teacher and a visionary at heart, Mr. Suresh Chander began his educational journey in 1983 with just ₹233.50/- and a handful of students in a small house building. What started as a modest initiative has, through his dedication, strong will, and relentless hard work, grown into Grand Columbus International School — a world-class institution known for its commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and values. His journey stands as a testament to the belief that education, when driven by passion and perseverance, can transform lives and build lasting legacies.

A proud Columbian from Faridabad, Hardik Sorayan completed his early education at Grand Columbus International School before pursuing his undergraduate studies at The Pennsylvania State University, USA. He further honed his skills in entrepreneurship with a graduate degree from The University of Otago, New Zealand. Carrying forward his father’s legacy, he envisioned and founded Little Columbus Pre School, with a mission to provide quality education and childcare for the youngest learners. His global exposure, entrepreneurial mindset, and deep-rooted passion for education have shaped Little Columbus into a nurturing space where curiosity, creativity, and confidence are at the heart of every child’s journey.

An alumna of Salwan Public School and an architect by profession, Sonam Verma brings creativity, vision, and motherly instincts to the heart of Little Columbus. Her architectural background fuels her ability to design learning environments that inspire imagination and exploration, while her personal journey as a new mother gives her a unique understanding of the challenges and opportunities in early childhood education.
Sonam’s insights have been pivotal in shaping the preschool’s curriculum, philosophy, and experience — ensuring that every child feels at home while building strong foundations for life.

The talents, skills, and abilities of each student need to be identified, nurtured, and encouraged to unlock their true potential. Hence, while academic excellence is our major thrust, the school is also devoted to preparing the students for life, grooming them to face the challenges of tomorrow, and encouraging them to be socially relevant. I am confident that the Columbians will shine brighter day by day, adding new leaves to the grandeur of the school.
